Happy Easter!

So we had a pretty good Easter here !

I hope yours was just incredible!

It is my favorite holiday - for what it means and for the fact that the grass is green, the flowers and trees are in bloom, and spending time with family.

I made this skirt for myself. I like it, and didn't think that I would get it finished in time...but I did. :) I felt like Little Bo-Peep - so I posed with Elli's little lamb that I made :)

Now, I have to clean my poor neglected house....

SweetApple Farm pics

Last Sunday was our church's trip to sweetapple farm. It a pumpkin farm -though, there was no pumpkin patch. A little disappointing. There was a petting zoo - sortof. There was a corn maze - I swore I wouldn't go into because it would be scarey. I did it, there were plenty of people in there already, so it was completely safe. :) The weather was great. There were no apples. We got a couple of cute pictures anyways!

The Riddle's

A couple of weeks ago we went for a little trip to my Grandma and Grandpa Riddle's house. Though they live only a 1/2 hour away, I don't get out to see them much - so it's always nice when we get a chance to visit. It was drizzling all day and we sat out on the porch swing and talked a while.

Elli decided she couldn't stand it anymore and ran out into the rain.

After the 5th time, I decided that I was finished chasing her and just let her play.

I had a change of clothes, so what's the big deal?

Eventually the clothes came off...she thought that was pretty crazy. It was a lot of fun. Silly girl!!!

Sorry the post here is so screwy...I have tried fixing the words and photos for the last 20 minutes - I am so frustrated. I deleted a couple of really cute pictures because the words were messed up to the side......ARGH!!! Oh well.... I hate computers.

I'm going on a picnic and I'm going to take....

Yesterday, though it was stinkin' hot, it was a beautiful day. Mike had the day off, so we all went on a picnic! It was a lot of fun. It actually wasn't too hot in the shade, but once we got in the sun, we instantly began to sweat. Yuck. I don't mind sweating - as long as I am doing something to actually make me sweat, like running or chasing Elli or excersizing...ya know. But anyhow, we grabbed some KFC (what picnic is really a picnic if you don't have it?), a blanket, and enjoyed the afternoon. Elli and her drum stick:

We played a little soccer. Elli's still learning the concept of "sharing" as you can tell....

And when Mike was tired, he had Elli feeding him grapes...

I tried to rest and nap for 5 minutes....didn't happen:
