Now I'm torn!
Okay.... Someone mentioned something that I have been kindof things about myself as well....should I ditch the red walls? I like them...will it be too much with the white cabinets? The red walls are so fun and energizing - hmmmm..... maybe I should paint the cabinets first and see.... any suggestions?

I like the white cabinets with the red walls. I thought it looked good together. Paint the cabinets white,if you like it with the red walls, keep them. If you don't, then paint the walls later.
I'm trying to stay out of this one, but I can't hardly stand it any longer. I am very partial to wood and I think your cabinets are beautiful with the wood. So, there's my vote. As for the red walls, maybe you would like your wood cabinets better if you painted the walls different...oh, it's your house, what does my opinion matter? :)
i like the white cabinets better and i love your red kitchen! I want to paint my kitchen red sooooooooo bad but Travis doesnt want to...

Red is really popular right now, and I didn't mean to start something, lol, sorry!
It isn't that the red and white do not look good together, they do, but the dark red doesn't help the room look bigger. It is kind of, whats the point of trying to make it look bigger if its still going to look small with the red?
I'd go with painting the walls a lighter color and accessorizing with red. But with that said, I've been in my house 2 years and haven't touched my kitchen with its strawberry boarder and crappy wood cabinettes.
Okay, here are my thoughts, for what they are worth. I personally like the wood cabinets, BUT I am also surrounded by wood that I love at my house. Having said that, my kitchen cabinets are actually sort of cream colored. But the walls are a light sage green. So I guess my vote is keep the wood if you like the red (I think red and wood go better than red and white, and I LOVE the red walls), or paint the cabinets white and go with a less powerful color for the walls.

I like the red walls... I want red walls in my kitchen... but there isnt really any good stopping point. I also like the red walls with the white cabinets. I think the brightness of the white is a great contrast to the darkness of the red... :-) but thats me :-)
oh yeah- I have a three piece red living room suit, my kitchen is decked out in red... so i am a little partial to red :-)
i also have a dark orange wall in my computer room for the fun of it :-) just in case you wanted to know :-)

Okay, I'm confused after reading all of the comments. How about off-white with red walls? Maybe a less dramatic cream.
Ooohh...creamy cabinets...now that's a thought. Hmmmm....that's one to consider.
I like the white and red. My cousins kitchen is totally decked out in white and red. She has all the cute red jugs and tins laying around and red and white plaid cutains it is awesome!! I wish I was that creative.
