Fingerprint jewelry

I found this website that you can have your child's (or I guess you could do for your spouse) fingerprint imprinted into silver or gold to use as pendants. They are pretty neat...very pricey! I guess you could do it with your favorite dog or cat too....
Check it out! It may be the perfect Christmas gift for someone! I wouldn't mind having one. The one I like is only $275...and that's one of the lesser expensive ones! Yikes!!

I was just searching for fingerprint jewelry (that's how I found your blog). I have seen the Imprint on My Heart ones before, but you're right, they are pricey. I just found another artist who does them, for alot less. I haven't seen one in person, so I don't know about the quality and she has less options in terms of style but her prices aren't bad. Her name is Tina Steinbery. I have a link to her site on my blog if you are interested. http://ourlilyspad.blogspot.com/2007/12/lilypad-likes_09.html

Hello! Imprint On My Heart has really nice stuff - their prices are higher because the pieces are thicker metal than some of the other folks (like thumbies - not sure about Tina Steinberys stuff) and if you're as hard on your jewelry as I am it pays to pay a little more so it will last. :)

Hi, I just wanted to follow up on my last comment. I got a fingerprint necklace from Tina Steinberg for Christmas and I love it! There are pictures of my actual necklace here http://ourlilyspad.blogspot.com/2008/02/lilypad-loves-fingerprint-necklace.html

silver fingerprint jewelry can take many other forms, all of which can add meaning to special occasions. Barrettes are the perfect gift for a little girl on her first day of school, while charm bracelets and cufflinks make wonderful graduation gifts. Religious jewelry is appropriate for to commemorate milestones in virtually all faiths, while cuff bracelets are the perfect "just because" gift.

Hi, I came across your blog by searching for a company that did my children's prints. And then read your comments. This website is awesome and the owner/designer is really well known in Vancouver and does AMAZING work. She is a mom and she totally worked with me to creat exsactly what I wanted. The quality is amazing. Thought I would post something to give her props: www.alydahl.com
I was looking for her to buy a dog tag for my husband for fathers day. LOVE LOVE LOVE her work!
