Today we went out to my Aunt Lois's woods for a hiking trip. It was a beautiful day! We waited a little too late to see the spectacular foiliage, but it was great none the less. If nothing else, it was good company and a nice to be outside in my old "stompin' grounds."We started out completely bundled up, but Elli HAD to have her arm sticking out so that she could point and shout.
We found this GIANT oak leaf and Elli thought it was the greatest thing! It really was that golden!
Here we are talking about it. And yes, she ended up on my hip. At least we were almost finished with our trek.
